With all the great opportunities out there, we wanted to be sure to share the news! The opportunities below each have their own criteria, but we're glad to share the information from our partners in aviation across the nation.
Let's start with the AMA Foundation Scholarship Program! Nearly $40,000 is made available every year for the AMA Scholarship program, and RIGHT NOW qualified students are eligible to receive up to $15,000 in financial aid for the academic year beginning in the fall of 2025. Additionally, the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) has partnered with AviationStart to provide a powerful new free resource. Born out of the FAA-partnered DreamLaunch Tour, AviationStart is designed to help aspiring aviators discover more than $20 million in scholarships and grants for pilots, aircraft mechanics, and other aviation careers.
By pairing AMA’s model aircraft materials with AviationStart’s scholarship and career guidance, educators have another easy way to connect students’ interest in STEM with real-world opportunities in aviation and aerospace. Be sure to check out!
EAA opens its scholarship applications
"The application process is now open for the 2025 EAA #AviationScholarships. #Flighttraining and post-secondary #scholarships are available to everyone over the age of 16. The deadline to apply is December 19, with the scholarships being awarded on March 2, 2026. The application window opens a month earlier this year to allow for the winners to get an earlier start on their flight training.
#Flight #training scholarships help cover the costs at any flight school in the United States or Canada that is not a university program. Post-secondary scholarships help pay for collegiate level programs in the United States including but not limited to: #aerospace or #aeronauticalengineering, #aviationbusinessadministration, #airtrafficcontrol, #aviationmaintenance, #professionalflight, or any #aviation-related #STEM field.
